What is ROCKSTAR CAMP?

ROCKSTAR CAMP is all about CONFIDENCE and CREATIVITY. Throughout multiple sessions, your budding Rockstar will:

BUILD CONFIDENCE through learning about performing, music, and stage presence, while receiving positive instruction and feedback

-CONNECT WITH OTHER STUDENTS and test out their performance chops (nerves and all!) among friends in a positive, encouraging environment

-EXPLORE MUSIC & CREATIVITY by learning and developing a performance (the student gets to choose a song and learn how to sing, play, or sing AND play it on piano or guitar)

-JOIN DISCUSSIONS about how performing is more than just having a spotlight on you and being nervous about messing up! It’s also about offering the talent you have as a gift to the audience and leading from the stage.

ACHIEVE ROCKSTAR STATUS! On the last week, each student will perform their song for the group and graduate from Rockstar Camp ready to Rockstar Walk their way through life!

PLUS every student will get a personalized website that holds all their practice resources, like this one.

PARENTS’ PERSPECTIVES

“ROCKSTAR CAMP made 100% difference for Ava in her confidence! She never believed in herself and always apologized or shied away from speaking or answering even me. Who knew something so seemingly simple could evoke such a difference?”
-Denise, Ava’s Mom

“Jenny does an amazing job connecting with and encouraging her students, including younger ones. My son, Theo is 8, has the typical short attention span and energy for a kid his age, and Jenny kept gently redirecting focus and bringing him back to the conversation without making him frustrated or feel bad. She met him right where he was at, even when he didn’t practice, and she gave positive constructive feedback that engaged him and made him want to keep trying. I love that she allowed him the freedom to express his creativity and didn’t expect the same level of performance as what the older kids were able to do. Theo loved every minute and wants to keep learning music!”
-Nichole, Theo’s mom
